CRAiLAR Flax was featured in the November / December issue of The Furrow magazine, a publication owned by John Deere and distributed primarily through its dealerships to 900,000 readers. Reporter Steve Werblow, based in Oregon, spoke with founder Jason Finnis, along with one of our South Carolina growers, Neal Baxley of Baxley Farms, which grew for the 2012 harvest and just finished planting for the 2013 crop.
The story provides a snapshot of the new, low-input agricultural opportunity delivered in CRAiLAR and we hope prospective growers in South Carolina, North America and beyond gain a new understanding of the rotation opportunity flax for CRAiLAR fiber presents.
